Learn to play

The club offers lessons at $20 per hour or three lessons for $50.  Each lesson is by appointment with a club coach and lasts a little over an hour.  These lessons are an introduction to enable you to learn about croquet.


The club offers free coaching to members as an ongoing commitment, enabling new members to progress their skills.  All members are regularly mentored by senior players to improve their ability.

The club is at times involved in teaching croquet to local schools, by arrangement. There are around 28 schools in NSW with croquet as part of their sports program.

Mosman Croquet Club has 150 full members.

There is currently a waiting list to join as a full member.


The club offers three types of membership: full, junior and social (ie non-playing). Rates for the 2022-2023 financial year are as follows:


Full membership $570 p.a. -  Full members are entitled to play on all lawns and to practise as often as they like. They receive a key to the club house and playing areas. 
Only Full Members may vote at the club's AGM.


Junior membership $60 p.a. - Junior members must be students (primary, secondary or tertiary) not earning a living.  They do not receive a key to the clubhouse, and they must have a full member present when playing or practising at the club.


Social membership $130 p.a. – Social members may participate in all club events other than playing croquet. They receive all communications circulated to full members, and they are eligible to play on the practice lawn, only.


All categories of membership include a Croquet NSW affiliation fee. No green fees are payable in any category.


Renewal of annual subscription is required by 31 May each year.
